An Angel - In Laval...?!? Wow!!!

There is a wooden statue in a park near the St-Lawrence River, on the Laval shore end, that always impressed me whenever I'd see it. Driving by, I'd give it a glance. Walking by, it is impossible not to stop and sit on one of the four benches surrounding it to admire it. On one of those occasions, I had my camera with me - so I took some snap shots to finally share this work of art with, first, kindred spirits who are out-of-towners, and then my luminous audience here! So here goes a foray into luminous photography!
(Hmm... I could make an all-new blog with that! Naaaahh... *lol*)





On the above shot you can see the all-important detail at the feet of the statue - the cage. This angel showing a bird how to be skybound is a symbol of freedom and liberty; maybe even liberation, although The Liberator is The Redeemer: Jesus-Christ and only Jesus-Christ.

Here's a nice e-mail I just received in my somewhat neglected inbox, these summer days (finally, another one of those BLOG-WORTHY "FORMIDABLE FORWARDABLES" - as I have taken to call them! If you wish to use the appellation, you gotta credit me now - I've laid claim to it and it is protected by copyright laws, henceforth!)

It is a formal notice though - one that affects US ALL...!
And it is WORSE than any silly story about either tomatoes, clams, oysters or whatever else that can be "contaminated" - no, folksies, this one is a far-more wide-spread contamination than even the dreaded salmonella and the equally-feared bird flu virus...!

RECALL NOTICE

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.

This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.

This defect has been technically termed "Sub sequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some other symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect. The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component. No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:

Before Becoming Luminous (\ô/) Luciano, I was Mister Coincidence... And So I Remain Too!

I would repertoriate significant coincidences, left and right...
And what a coincidence THIS IS TOO...!

Who knew that, on the 17th of June, it was going to be ALL AT ONCE *the* official Firefox "Download Day" (as promoted by this Nietszchian melancholic - not me!) AND the day in which the Ubermensch Boston Celtics would prevail in STUNNING FASHION, winning their... 17th championship!

Add to that the fact that the Celtics' MVP, Paul Pierce, needed only contribute 17 points for the crushing victory!

Did you know: I was only 17 indeed when the Boston Celtics won their previous championship! Yes!!! That was 22 years ago - you do the math! (Elementary, my dear Watson...)

The family darn cat *only* bothered us with his capricious demands... 17 times during the whole blamed day!

They also only aired that annoying commercial I hate so much... about 17 times in a single hour-span of frustrating TV-viewing! (No wonder I watch less and less television! "Who needs cable, when you've got internet interactivity" is rapidly becoming my newest luminous catch phrase!)

And the old man on his porch across the street, trying to beat the heat by sucking in polluted air as cars vroomed by his bungalow, only scratched his butt 17 times too!

And, AND -this is good- as I glanced into my cookie jar - lo and behold, I counted exactly 17 cookies left in there...!!!

Verily, it could also be said that Firefox has only been fed down our throats about... 17 times, since its introduction, a mere few years ago!
(They've managed this by offering versions 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3... You get the idea!)

Hence, all in all, there can be no doubt:
the number 17 was the center of the universe on June 17th, 2008!

It is good to be luminous - when one delineates these significant coincidences, that is! Also known as SYNCHRONICITY too...!

Oh Nooooooo - Not Another Friday The 13th Post!!!

Not only do we have to be doubly vigilant on days like these, but, these days, we have to look out for black cats, open ladders, black widows, step-mothers and/or step-dads, bio-terrorists, Biodome repeats on cable tv, chemo-terrorists, Chemical Brothers, kamikaze terrorists, Suicide Blondes, Voorhees remakes/sequels, all forms of itches (eczema, grandmas, bitches, ditches, witches...) and TONS MORE BRAND *NEW* TERRORS OUT THERE...!!!


And we all know they lurk around with added and renewed daring on THIS DAY - as if to goad us all into zealous derring-do...?
