Take this "broken line" - and shove it once again?

Worldwide, practically NO ONE even has the slightest idea who these two are (and it goes also for Jacynthe René, former (minor) model turned actress (or rather "comédienne" as they are refered to over there) and also featured in this thing here...)

We are talking about "stars" that never get hired whenever an American production was filming in their town - not even for a bit part! (Make that "never GOT hired..." because American productions finally saw the light and STOPPED coming to wretched Montreal for filming! It took the near-parity of the two dollars for it to sink in - the mere fact that, whenever they filmed a cheap production in places such as Montreal, Ottawa or even Toronto, it automatically became imbued with that undescribable intangible that I could refer to as "Canadian mediocrity" - which cheapens furthermore every film instantly! But that is another story...)

Just to fill you in, a bit; Lemay-Thivierge thinks he's being versatile by starring in the lone, lame true attempt at making an action flick in Quebec ("Good Cop, Bad Cop" was an Ontario-Quebec co-production and it was a typical buddy movie the kind of Americans grew WEARY of making...!) and doing various other things as well, even making commercials too... The truth is, that is the nature of the pitiful beast known as "the local Quebec star-system" - they dub foreign films into their lame version of French, they do cartoon voices, they do radio, they host TV shows, they shoot commercials weeks after shooting a boring TV series and days after shooting a film doomed to fail at the box-office: that's because they only have a finite number of ideal shooting days before the weather turns into a frozen hell! Hence, Lemay-Thivierge is only doing as everyone else can do in that system - plus, his latest commercial especially, confirms the sad truth that the lowest, lesser-known American TV actor who does commercials for a living *REGULARLY* does it better than he ever will.

I don't really need to analyze the career paths and accomplishments of la louve Wolfe and Jacynthe René (A MODEL turned "comédienne" sheesh) to prove my point any further - now, do I?

The latter may be, actually, the reason why I started on the whole diatribe in the first place though; after all, this is about her "first love" and the business that first gave her her big break - the world of fashion!

Fa-fa-fa-fa-fashion - it's such a huge profoundly silly and debilitating piece of FLUFF - is it not! As Alain Souchon said so well - "putain, ça penche! On voit le vide à travers des planches!"
